My Background
I began my public service in Missoula County in 1993 at the Pre-Release Center, followed by 21 years as a felony probation and parole officer. I have served as Missoula County's Justice of the Peace since 2016.
I am known for my integrity, fairness, and impartiality, along with a deep appreciation for how court decisions impact individuals and families. I have worked closely with victims, defendants, law enforcement, attorneys, and judges, earning respect and giving me a well-rounded perspective.
I developed ROAD Court, an effective, evidence-based, non-traditional approach to DUI sentencing that holds defendants accountable, addresses substance abuse, and improves public safety.
